globalPoint receives Innovation Award

The winners of the “productronica innovation award” were announced just in time for the opening of Productronica 2023, the world´s leading trade fair for electronics. The innovation award was presented for the fifth time in Munich, with an independent jury selecting the winners in six categories from 70 submissions.

In the “SMT” cluster, globalPoint was awarded an outstanding second place for its innovative “horus® Professional Temperature Profiling” measurement electronics. Thanks to horus®, the time-consuming heating and cooling of a reflow oven during profiling is now history – the measurement electronics opens a WIFI hotspot to which the user can connect. The first profile simulation already produces a finished soldering profile. globalPoint Managing Director Rainer Krauss: “We are delighted with the award – it shows that our new product reflects the needs of our customers and will be successful on the market.”
