globalPoint at APEX again

As a measurement technology expert, globalPoint was present at APEX for the first time as a sub-exhibitor. As a guarantor for stable thermal processes in soldering, globalPoint is continuously expanding its customer base in North America.

Against this background, globalPoint´s participation at the most important US trade fair for electronics manufacturing from 29 to 31 January was only natural.

The current range of temperature, measurement and recording systems was presented and demonstrated live. In addition to the recording and evaluation of classical reflow temperature profiles, measuring systems for wave soldering systems are becoming more and more important. Especially in the case of complex flat assemblies, as they are soldered today in wave soldering machines, analysis and optimization of process recording are becoming more and more important in order to create optimal temperature profiles.

Decisive for this is a user-friendly PTP® user software, which is adapted by globalPoint to the customer´s requirements every year and made available as a download via the website. “The participation of globalPoint at APEX was very fruitful and we are looking forward to the upcoming exhibitions in Europe and Asia, where we will present the powerful solutions of globalPoint to our customers and prospects,” said Rainer Krauss at the end of APEX in his function as managing director of globalPoint.
