globalPoint participates in Ersa Techforum

At Ersa GmbH´s second exclusive technology forum in Wertheim, measurement technology specialist globalPoint presented its new measurement board Selective V5. As with the first edition, the aim of the event was to map current trends in all process areas of electronics manufacturing. In addition to technical innovations from the world of selective soldering and reflow soldering (Ersa EXOS 10/26) as well as highly automated rework, the Alpha 140 3D printer was presented with live demos, among other things – the participating business partners completed the presented program with cutting-edge electronics manufacturing equipment, ASM SMT Solutions for example with a THT placement machine. The new globalPoint selective board V5 with eight thermocouples of the highest accuracy class was also very well received by the interested audience.
The “hardware” program was supplemented by a content-rich mix of presentations focusing on automation, Industry 4.0, stencil printing, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, cleaning methods and nitrogen systems. Lively exchanges took place not only during the lectures, but also in dialog with the technology experts directly at the systems and in the exchange with the participating partners. Organizer Ersa received high praise for the excellent event and a perfectly elaborated hygiene concept. “These were three great days, during which we brought the latest innovations for electronics manufacturing to customers and interested parties in cooperation with our partners,” said globalPoint Managing Director Rainer Krauss at the end of the technology forum.
